Research has shown indoor cycling is traditionally associated with minority user groups who are already fit and conditioned. Inspired to encourage new participants from more non-traditional backgrounds, Tomahawk has launched its CYCLEwell initiative The CYCLEwell initiative comprises of a purpose built ‘stem’ specifically designed to adapt the handlebar and seated position to make the bike set up more accessible to a wider audience. This may include; The de-conditioned The beginners / new to exercise Pre and Post natal Post injury and rehabilitation Overweight GP referral Seniors Invite these groups, collectively or individually, to a class which is focused on health and wellbeing as opposed to performance and intensity thus making it a more enjoyable experience which has been tailored to meet their needs. Furthermore, I.C.E Education, Tomahawks sister company, have created an accredited qualification that will support and enhance the delivery of a CYCLEwell class.
